PALIM Program Information

The PALIM aims to promote the accessibility of leisure to people with a functional limitation to increase their participation in leisure and sport activities. This is accomplished through coaching, transportation, hospitality, access to places and activities, and affordability. It should also be noted that accessibility to leisure for persons with a functional limitation also depends on the quality of the experience, in particular through awareness-raising and training of support staff and supervision, which is essential for ensuring the quality of services.

This joint program is under the responsibility of Sport et Loisir of the Island of Montreal and the City of Montreal. AlterGo coordinates the PALÎM. It is made possible by the financial collaboration of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
